For geothermal heating, every home is different… specific calculations must be made for each installation. A “Manual J” heat load calculation will be figured according to the construction of your home, insulation, window area, and other heat or cooling factors. We will compute the exact needs of your installation in order to give you maximum performance with the lowest possible operating cost.
Undersized equipment often leads to inadequate heat or cooling so severe that rooms are either too warm or too cold. Unit life may be shortened because the equipment is operating at maximum capacity continuously.
Oversizing leads to long on and off periods then sudden blasts of hot or cold air with inconsistent room temperature and humidity levels. Cost of operation is high and frequent service bills possible.
Comfortable temperature and humidity levels are constant, reducing operating and service costs, and increasing the life of the unit.
The Benefits of Zoning
• Solves the problem of rooms that are too cold or too hot
• Allows you to set the temperature you want, when you want it, where you want it
• Only condition occupied zones
• Save up to 30% when combined with programmable thermostats
• Flexibility of a thermostat in each zone
• No need to return to the dining room to adjust the thermostat for the whole house
Other Rooms TOO Cold?
The Solution is Zoning
When combined with programmable thermostats, Zoning allows you to conserve energy, up to 30% which can add up to hundreds of dollars in savings per year.
Each zone in your home has dampers in your ductwork that open or shut based on your heating/cooling requirements. These dampers are controlled through the thermostat for that particular zone. When you don’t need to condition the air, you save energy because the dampers close the ductwork in that zone of your house. If you combine your system with automatic setback thermostats, you’ll save even more money because you can program each thermostat to automatically provide different temperatures during various times of the day. This truly provides the temperature you want… where you want it… when you want it.
Typically 2-story homes with large square footage. A representative from Buschur’s Refrigeration can help you determine if a zone system is right for you.
High Performance Ductwork
• Improved Moisture Resistance
• Superior Indoor Air Quality
• Tougher Enhanced Surface
CertainTeed took our previous generation of ToughGard Duct Board and, with the addition of a new Enhanced Surface, made it 40% more moisture resistant. Improved moisture resistance means less worry about problems from condensation, mold and bacterial growth.
The superior abrasion resistance of the airstream surface makes cleaning simple. The surface can be easily and effectively cleaned with industry-recognized duct cleaning equipment and procedures. The mat surface contains and EPA registered antimicrobial growth that may affect this product.
CertainTeed’s new ToughGard Duct Board with Enhanced surface stands up to rough handling, and provides unbeatable resistance to tearing, puncturing and wear caused by installation. This new, improved surface also helps improve the overall efficiency of the system and reduces the potential for fiber erosion.
